Smoked Baby Back Ribs

Recipe Details:

Ingredients:

  • Trimmed Baby Back Ribs membrane removed
  • Uncle Lucky’s BBQ Nirvana Sauce
  • Your favorite pork rub
  • Spray bottle with apple juice and a couple of tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce


Directions:

  • Rub ribs with your favorite pork rub and refrigerate for 2 hr or overnight (if that’s your preference)
  • Fire up the smoker with hickory or your preferred wood
  • If your smoker allows, place a pan of equal parts beer and water under the cooking surface
  • Allow ribs to reach room temperature
  • Bring the smoker temperature to 225 degrees
  • Place ribs in the smoker, bone side down and let cook for 2hr occasionally spritzing with apple juice and Worcestershire sauce
  • After 2 hr wrap the ribs meat side down in foil and spray liberally with the apple juice solution before closing up wrap
  • Return the ribs on the smoker for another 2 hr and maintain smoker temperature of 225 degrees
  • Remove ribs from foil and generously apply Uncle Lucky’s BBQ Nirvana Sauce over the meat side of the ribs
  • Return ribs to smoker meat side up and maintain smoker temperature of 225 degrees for one hour or until the ribs can be pulled easily from the bone
  • Remove from smoker and apply more sauce as needed
